As Middle and West Wichel continue to expand, 5 new bins have been installed serving the new areas. The locations chosen have been guided by feedback from residents and Wroughton & Wichelstowe Parish Council’s Grounds Team, and are close to the new footpaths which run through the open spaces. The bins have been funded and installed by the developer, Wichelstowe LLP, and they will be managed by Wroughton and Wichelstowe Parish Council
The bins can be used for both general waste and dog waste and all residents and visitors are encouraged to dispose of their waste responsibly. The bins will be monitored for the first few months by the Parish Council Grounds team to determine how often they need emptying and if the schedule needs to be adjusted. If you have any queries or concerns over the frequency, please contact Wroughton & Wichelstowe Parish Council on 01793 814735 or via the website : Wroughton Parish Council | Contact Us
If you’d like to help keep Wroughton and Wichelstowe tidy, all are welcome to join the community litter pick which will be held on Thursday 28th August.
